Can I Share Something with You for a Minute?
My name is John Marshall and I would like to tell you a little bit about my experience meeting with the local churches. I will just give a little background information first. I am 24 years old and currently reside in Southern California. I was born in the Seattle area and later moved to Colorado when I was 11 where I graduated from high school and earned my bachelors degree at The University of Colorado in Boulder. My parents met with the local churches before I was born, so I grew up meeting with the local church. My experience meeting with the local churches has been nothing but positive. All the practices are based on the Bible. I have observed people who are down and out begin to meet with the local church and the more they meet with the brothers and sisters the more joy they have and the more they light up. Their countenance and even their lives change. None of these changes occurred by outward correction, they all occurred by enjoying and growing in Christ in a normal way. These kinds of experiences give me a real joy and assurance that the Lord is among us.
